New Draft teams 2014

In 2014 new Draft teams didn’t get funding but they had a chance to meet mentor companies.

SHARITY – Student’s international volunteering organization

Organization canalizes interesting voluntary work places for students among the exchange and internship program all over the world. A motivated student is provided with an opportunity to gather different and exciting cultural experiences in voluntary working life, by working besides studying or combined to the internship. Sharity wants to encourage young people to give a peace of their time for good actions, and to make sure that every offered hand of help will be utilized.

Joensuu International Review Community

JIRC is community of international and Finnish students who do critically reviews of various types of businesses and services in Joensuu area. Services like bars and pubs, cafés, restaurant, supermarkets etc.. These review reports are then published on the community blog. The purpose is to meet new people, to get to know Joensuu a bit deeper, and to help the local economy develop higher quality products and services in the long-term.

Measuring Emissions from Vehicles: Cheaper and Smarter

The aim of this disruptive invention is to effectively reduce the costs of measuring carbon emissions from road vehicles, help drivers monitor their CO2 emissions per trip they commute, and produce close-to-reality archive of emissions at the national level.
