Tiia-Mari Kolibri’s Virtual Art Gallery

Tiia-Mari Kolibri’s Virtual Art Gallery is an app that mixes fine art with video game mechanics. The gallery is based on Kolibri’s art work. The gallery will be created with the Unity engine and anyone can play it for free. The complete app will be published on Tiia-Mari Kolibri’s artist web page on December 2016. This gallery is a prototype project – it’s a part of a bigger business idea of creating an ICT company that focuses on the art industry.

Flipped Integration

Marie, Arla and Heljä came up with the idea of Flipped Integration cooperative in the spring and after the guys, Mohamed and Ziyad, started to work with us we’ve developed and improved the idea a lot and it’s in progress and under development all the time. The very first thought was just to get work for the bored refugees but it’s evolved to making the whole integration process smoother for them. Finnish people and refugees together solving the problem of integration is in the core of our work and we are very passionate to spread this idea out in our society. The main idea is to let the immigrants work or run their own business with the help of our cooperative which could do the paperwork and make sure everything is going by law and is profitable.

Luon

We develop educational games and applications to teach students important skills for more effective learning and healthy living. These skills include emotional intelligence, awareness, cognitive and social skills. Our goal is to create quality content to support a comprehensive change in schools, to systematically train children in life coping skills and to increase mindful presence, compassion and care. Our games and applications are based on a method called FOURCORE™ developed by a primary school teacher and our designer Joonas Miettinen. In team Luon we all have plenty of experience in game or/and application development. In addition we all share the same passion for creating well-being. The world is changing, and we want to be an active part of that change, towards a caring future.
